Apiary Sessions are now over until Spring 2026.
Our annual Honey Show is not to be missed! It is easy to get involved whether you are a new or experienced beekeeper. You don't even need to have any honey or wax as there are a number of classes that you can enter for which you can use bought hive products.
We usually organise a preparation meeting where the Honey Show Secretary and others with experience of showing share their tips and advice for benching prize winning entries.
There are also plenty of online resources that you can use to hone your honey!
The schedule for the 2025 Show is here for reference. The schedule for the 2026 show will be confirmed closer to the time.
We try to have our ELBKA show before Lancashire Beekeepers Association (our County Level Association) have their Show so that you can go on and take your entries to the next level.
Lancashire Beekeepers Association - Honey Show
The National Honey show is held at the end October. Standards are high, but you have to be in it to win it.
